David L. Rajkowski, O.D.
Dr. David Rajkowski is a graduate of Fairfield University and the State University of New York, College of Optometry. He is an Optometric Physician, board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease since 1994. His training includes internships at Omni Eye Services, Islen, NJ and the USMA Optometric Clinic at West Point, NY.
Dr. David and Pamela Rajkowski are owners of High Mountain Eyecare (1994), Maple Eyecare (2008), Saddle River Eyecare (2020), and River Vale Eyecare in (2022).
He is a member of the American Optometric Association, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the Bergen/Passaic Optometric Society. He has lectured on Low Vision Care as well as having participated as a clinical investigator for Allergan, Inc.
David has been a Vision Source member since 2003 and an Administrator for Northern New Jersey Vision Source member doctors since 2005.
Dr. Rajkowski is married to Dr. Pamela Rajkowski and are the parents of three children.
His hobbies include travel, music, photography, golf, and spending time with his family.

Pamela Z. Rajkowski, O.D.
Dr. Pamela Rajkowski is a graduate of Fairfield University and the State University of New York, College of Optometry. She is an Optometric Physician, board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Her training includes internships at the Baltimore Veterans Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and Newington Veterans Hospital, Newington, CT.
Dr. Rajkowski has been in private practice in New Jersey since 1994. She is proud to partner with her husband, Dr. David Rajkowski at High Mountain Eyecare (1994), Maple Eyecare (2008), Saddle River Eyecare (2020), and River Vale Eyecare in (2022).
Pamela loves spending time with her family, especially traveling with her husband and three children.
Her hobbies include photography, sewing, gardening, and shelling.

Lauren Rosato, OD
Dr. Lauren Rosato is an optometric physician board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Biology with a specialization in Genetics and Developmental Biology. She received her Doctorate from the State University of New York, College of Optometry.
It’s possible that you may have met her before while she was completing one of her optometric internships with us. Her additional training includes internships at the USMA Optometric Clinic at West Point, NY, the Cornea and Laser Eye Institute in Teaneck, NJ and SUNY Optometry’s Manhattan-based eye clinic.
During her time at SUNY Optometry, Dr. Rosato was a recipient of the Dr. Nathan and Laura Millman Scholarship, and a two-time recipient of both the Milton Scholarship and Schnurmacher Merit Scholarship. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the national Optometric honor society, for all four years. She also participated in clinical research and is published in the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, and the Bergen/Passaic Optometric Society.
She grew up in Rockland County, NY. Her hobbies include traveling, playing with her dog and spending time with family.

Tasnim Zakaria, O.D.
Dr. Tasnim Zakaria is an optometric physician, board-certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. in Biology, and received her Doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
She completed multiple clinical externships including private practice optometry, Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. She was recognized with Honors in patient care at each of these sites.
Dr. Zakaria received clinical excellence awards in both Primary Care and Low Vision during her time at PCO’s Philly-based eye clinic. She was also the sole recipient for the Clinical Excellence in Vision Rehabilitation award for her time at the William Feinbloom Low Vision Center.
She is a member of the American Optometric Society, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the Bergen/Passaic Optometric Society.
She grew up in Passaic County, New Jersey and has returned to our practice as a doctor after working with us during her time in college. She is excited to be back and treating patients in her hometown area. She enjoys traveling, creating digital art, and spending time with her twin nephews.

Mariah Marshall, OD
Dr. Mariah Marshall is an optometric physician board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She earned her B.A. from Vassar College and her doctor of optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry. Her training includes externships at our High Mountain Eyecare practice, Lyons VA Medical Center, the Cornea & Laser Eye Institute in Teaneck, NJ and internships at the SUNY University Eye Center. She completed her residency in Vision Rehabilitation with an emphasis on Low Vision Rehabilitation at the SUNY College of Optometry.
During her residency training, Dr. Marshall was a recipient of the Bill Mattingly Memorial Scholarship and Ocutech® Low Vision Research Award. She has lectured on the importance of pediatric low vision and of low vision rehabilitation in patients with multiple disabilities. In addition to treating our patients, she currently serves as an assistant clinical professor for 3rd year interns at the SUNY College of Optometry.
Dr. Marshall is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and National Optometric Association. As a student, she served as the community chairperson and vice president of the student chapter of the National Optometric Association at SUNY.
She is excited to return to our practice and to provide excellent vision care to our patients. Her hobbies include watching foreign dramas and calligraphy.

Despina Fikaris, OD
Dr. Despina Fikaris is an optometric physician board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She graduated from Rutgers College with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Exercise Science. She continued her studies at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she received a Doctorate of Optometry. Her clinical externship experience includes The Cornea & Laser Eye Institute affiliated with Hackensack Hospital, Aran Eye Associates in Miami, FL, Liva Eye Center and The Eye Institute at PCO-Pediatric and Binocular Vision Clinic and the Feinbloom Vision Rehab Center in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Fikaris has extensive cornea and refractive surgery experience having been the Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers-White Plains, NY for over 17 years. She worked alongside top corneal surgeons determining patient candidacy, calculating surgical outcomes, as well as managing clinical operations. She provided preoperative and postoperative care of surgical patients and has successfully counseled and managed thousands of LASIK & PRK patients. She was also a frequent lecturer and assisted affiliate doctors in the co-management of patients.
Dr. Fikaris is a member of the American Optometric Association, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and the Bergen/Passaic Optometric Society.
Dr. Fikaris is excited to return back to Bergen County to practice and provide excellent patient care to our patients. She leads an active lifestyle with her husband and three sons. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, various sports and spending time with family and friends.
